Try our free Tax Planning for All skill. Start with a return, your own numbers, or a rough income estimate to explore strategies and understand the money needed.
The skill provides planning guidance; dollar estimates need a compatible calculator. Documents shared with an AI assistant follow that platform’s privacy policies.

YOUR PLAN
Add a strategy, then enter the extra amount you want to try.
Paystub amounts flow into the 2026 column. Review other income and deductions here. Entries are kept only while this page stays open; download your comparison before leaving.
2025 withholding and estimates are not copied. Only the reviewed line 36 credit applies to 2026. Separate paid and planned estimates in Credits & payments below; enter full-year withholding from your paystub or worksheet.
Update pay, filing status, deductions and payments to refine your projection.
Enter the total after applicable limits. Include eligible mortgage interest, charitable gifts and deductible taxes. Standard-only needs no itemized entry.
Each strategy is a separate alternative to your 2026 baseline. Combined plans recalculate the selected strategies together.
A smaller balance due from paying more tax is not a tax saving. Delaying income may move tax to a later year.
New cash contributions, investments, fees and extra tax payments. Cost segregation includes the full property purchase price, before financing. Donated stock is shown separately as a noncash gift.
New cash required, plus any estimated tax increase or minus a current-year tax reduction. A reduction may arrive later; deferred tax can still be due in a future year.
Future growth, sale taxes and investment returns are excluded. Stock gifts show asset value separately. Property funding uses the full purchase price; loans are not modeled.
Your documents never leave your device. Returns, paystubs and statements are opened and read inside your browser (PDF.js and Tesseract text recognition run on this page). Every calculation also runs here. There is no server-side processing, account or database.
Open your browser's developer tools, choose the Network tab, then upload a document. You will see the site's own files load, and no upload of your document or numbers.
Like any website, the hosting service sees standard request information such as your IP address and which files were loaded, but not your entries. The host also adds a small script of its own for site management; the same network lock applies to it. Browser extensions and malware on your device can read any page you open, so use a trusted device and close the page when you finish on a shared computer.
Tax uses 2026 federal rules. Automatic mode calculates AMT, QBI and supported deductions from 2026 inputs. Reviewed manual amounts remain available for complex cases. Credits remain separately reviewed inputs.
Federal estimates use 2026 ordinary and capital-gain brackets, self-employment tax, net investment income tax and Additional Medicare tax. State and local taxes are excluded.
Enter taxable Social Security and eligible credits. Review the current-year business and deduction components used by automatic calculations. Age allowances and the enhanced senior deduction are calculated from your age selections; do not enter them again as other deductions. Automatic calculations include the 2026 AMT exemption/phaseout, QBI limits, SALT cap/phaseout, medical and charitable floors, and the overall itemized limitation. Noncash gifts/carryovers, mortgage eligibility, special-rate gains, depreciation, recapture and penalties need additional review. Contribution warnings compare selected 2026 limits with entered amounts; they do not enforce limits or establish eligibility. The default deduction compares standard and itemized options and chooses the lower estimated total tax. Select itemized-only when the standard deduction is unavailable. Payroll tax savings on employee elections are not modeled.
In return mode, 2025 totals are your entered as-filed amounts. Direct mode uses only 2026 estimates. Documents are read locally using PDF.js and Tesseract OCR. Imported amounts require your review; unsupported or uncertain fields need manual entry. Files are never uploaded. Entries are kept on this device only if you turn on “Remember on this device”.
